AKC Canine Good Citizen
The AKC Canine Good Citizen™ (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society.
The 10 test items on the CGC test are practical, functional behaviors that every dog should have to be welcomed in the community.
CGC is open to all dogs–purebred and mixed breed. There are no age minimums or limits for participating in the Canine Good Citizen program, because yes, you can always teach an old dog new tricks!

About the class
CGC is an excellent option for our Manners 1 graduates looking to extend their education. This six week course will continue the progress made in our foundational class, as we work to complete the list of skills required for the AKC title.
